
Chelsea Jimenez
Head Choir Director, Willis High School
Chelsea Jimenez began her teaching career in 2016 after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education with an emphasis in voice from Sam Houston State University. Over the past nine years, she has built a strong reputation as a dedicated and accomplished choir director. She began her career in middle school choral education, where she laid a solid foundation in vocal pedagogy and ensemble development.
Throughout her career, Chelsea has consistently led her choirs to high levels of success, earning multiple UIL Sweepstakes awards across different ensemble levels. Her commitment to musical excellence, student growth, and program development has made a lasting impact at each campus she has served. She is especially proud to now be growing the Wildkat Choir program, fulfilling a dream she’s had since third grade of becoming a head high school choir director.
To stay artistically active and continue honing her craft, Chelsea sings with both the Wildwood UMC Choir and the Suono Chamber Choir. She currently teaches Varsity Mixed Choir, Varsity Treble Choir, Non-Varsity Treble Choir, and Advanced Guitar. Outside the classroom, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and occasionally playing video games—when she’s not chasing after her energetic young son.

Jackson Howard
Assistant Choir Director, Willis High School
Mr. Howard is excited to begin his second year of teaching and his first at Willis High School. Last year, he served as the Director of Choirs for Whitney ISD, conducting choirs at the high school and middle school levels. While at Whitney High School, choirs under Mr. Howard’s direction earned the first UIL sweepstakes in school history. Recently, he finished his Bachelor of Music in Church Music at Baylor University. While at Baylor, Mr. Howard sang in the A Cappella Choir and Chamber Singers, and he studied under Dr. Kimberly Monzón, Dr. Kristina MacMullen, and Dr. Randall Bradley. During his time in Waco, Mr. Howard also served as the Minister of Music at First Baptist Church, Valley Mills, where he directed the Ministry Choir and the Youth Choir. Previously, he served as Music Intern and Choral Scholar at Chapelwood UMC, Choral Scholar at Seventh and James Baptist Church, Music Intern at First Baptist Church of Conroe, and Director of Music at Mooreville Methodist Church. As a life-long learner, Mr. Howard maintains his vocal technique through singing with professional choirs such as the Cameron Cody Chorale, Cantibus, and Awaken Ensemble. In recent years, he received the Ray Luper Award for excellence in church music and sang in the Texas All-State Tenor-Bass Choir. Mr. Howard holds memberships in the Texas Music Educators Association, the Texas Choral Directors Association, and the American Choral Directors Association. In his free time, he enjoys reading novels, running, watching Baylor sports, visiting the emus on his parents’ farm, and spending time with his crazy puppy, Frankie.

Alan Boudreaux
Choir Director, Brabham Middle School
Mr. Alan Boudreax has been the Head Choir Director at Brabham Middle School since the Spring of 2023. Growing up singing with his family and in school through the College Park feeder system in Conroe ISD, Mr. Boudreaux found a passion for music and decided to pursue a degree in Music Education. Mr. Boudreaux graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelors in Music Education in 2021. After graduating, Mr. Boudreaux took some time to explore different educational avenues while living in New England and working for an Out-Door Education Program called Nature’s Classroom. After some time, Mr. Boudreaux returned home and found a placement at Brabham Middle School to apply his musical skills. Mr. Boudreaux is extremely proud of the work his students have done since he has joined the Brabham team! This includes establishing consistent concert performances, multiple Superior Ratings at the annual UIL Choir Assessments, and numerous field trips/festivals for all 6th, 7th, 8th Grade Ensembles. Mr. Boudreaux is looking forward to this coming year and continuing to make fantastic music, as well as amazing memories with all those involved in his program!

Moises Veletzuy
Choir Director, Calfee Middle School
Mr. Veletzuy is currently in his 9th year of teaching and is joining Willis ISD from Klein ISD.
Mr. Veletzuy’s journey as a musician started in 5th grade choir in Cypress Fairbanks ISD. He was an active participant in the Cypress Ridge High School Choir, earning a spot in the top choir from 2010-2012 and also earning a spot in the TMEA All-State Men’s Choir in 2012.
Mr. Veletzuy went on to study Choral Music Education at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. He was a voice student under the tutelage of Dr. Jammieca Mott, a choral education student of Denise Eaton and Debbie Rawlins, and a member of the university’s premier choir, SHSU Chorale, under the direction of Dr. James Franklin.
Beginning his teaching career at Glen Loch Elementary in the Spring of 2017, Mr. Veletzuy taught General Music to students from Kindergarten through 4th Grade. In addition to this, he also led multiple after-school elementary choirs, earning awards at competitions and also performing at events for members of the community. During Mr. Veletzuy’s time at Wunderlich Intermediate, the Choir program had earned several awards, performed at various community events, and has become a staple of the Klein ISD Fine Arts community.
Mr. Veletzuy enjoys spending his free time with his wife, daughters, and 2 dogs, and bird. He also enjoys watching TV, collecting Pokemon cards, and playing the occasional video game.

Bonnie Hernandez
Choir Director, Lynn Lucas Middle School
Mrs. Hernandez has been teaching for 26 years, and this is her 2nd year at Lynn Lucas. Last year LLMS Choir received superior and excellent rating at UIL contest. JV Treble choir earned a Sweepstakes. We also had multiple superior and excellent ratings at Solo and Ensemble contest. When teaching at Schindewolf her Advanced Treble Choir and Tenor-Bass Choir earned UIL Sweepstakes. Intermediate girls earned a superior rating in sight-reading and excellent on stage. Beginning Choir earned a superior rating at the Klein 6th grade choral festival. Before teaching at LLMS, Mrs. Hernandez taught at Schindewolf in Klein, and taught in Magnolia for a total of 15 years. While in Magnolia Mrs. Hernandez worked as co-director for Bear Branch Junior High for 2 years and Head Director for 1 year and helped lead BBJH to earn multiple UIL Sweepstakes. Mrs. Hernandez also worked as co-director at Magnolia High School for 9 years. During this time she helped Magnolia High School build the program to a local, state, and nationally recognized chorale program. She enjoyed the opportunity to conduct on stage at Carnegie Hall in New York, The National Cathedral in Washington DC, and assisted with the choir when selected for Southwest ACDA Conference in 2018. A few years ago, Mrs. Hernandez decided to make a change to teach on campus with her own children and also taught elementary music for 4 years. During her time at the elementary level, she had choirs of eighty students and her choirs earned superior ratings at choir competitions. Going back to the beginning of her career, she started teaching in 2000 at Holub Middle School in Alief ISD. In those 5 years she maintained the strongest performing middle school choral program in the Alief District, earning multiple UIL Sweepstakes and superior rates at Texas UIL Contest. Mrs. Hernandez is University of Minnesota Duluth Alumni.
Mrs. Hernandez lives in Magnolia with her husband Rigo (who is the IT Director for Montgomery County Library), Garrett (13 years old, plays football, basketball, Trombone, and sings in choir), and Rosalin (10 years old, gymnast, in basketball, and also loves to sing). When they have free time their family loves to hike, make music, swim, bike, watch movies, and try out new recipes in the kitchen.
